Thank you to all those who got in touch with heartful messages in support for Japan. My thoughts are also with those affected by the great earthquake and tsunami. My mother who lives in Fukushima prefecture started writing emails to friends and family with updates which has turned into a blog. She writes of running a small business in the midst of aftershocks and confusion in a sensible and at times, funny way.

Japan is obviously close to our hearts here and our thoughts are with those affected by the earthquake. Helpless as we are in UK as events unfold, there are organisations busy helping with the relief work or planning reconstruction. Japanese press have extensively covered the help received from foreign emergency teams. Here's how we can help:

It’s that time of year again – Spring trade shows!

We’re off to Maison et Objet from 21-25 January, supported by the British European Design Group (www.bedg.org) Please come and see us at NOW! Hall 8, stand L18

We will launch some brand new products there, including a new set of Christmas baubles in collaboration with a brilliant fine artist known only as Hin. His style is rather dark but humorous nonetheless.
